Pam Huff has 50 years experience in television news as a news anchor and a reporter as well as serving as the Managing Editor. Most of those years were been spent in Birmingham, AL. She also held positions in the Tampa, FL and Huntington, WV television markets. She co-anchored the "Good Morning Alabama" program and was awarded a regional Emmy in 2007.
Key areas of reporting include politics, education, and health.
Her consulting business, Outspoken Communications, is designed to help midlevel to C-Level managers have more effective communication and presentation skills.
In 2022, Huff was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer and underwent surgical and chemotherapy treatment. She retired from the station in May 2024.
She and her husband Bill have two daughters and two grandchildren.
Gloria H. Buie is a native of Sylacauga, Alabama, where she is an active member of Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She is a graduate of Jacksonville State University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Gloria retired from Alabama Power Company after a 39-year career.
Gloria is a member of the Talladega County Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated where she serves as Vice President, the Talladega County Democratic Party and the Talladega County Branch of the N.A.A.C.P. Gloria is an experienced 500-hour registered yoga teacher (E-RYT500), with various certifications in the practice of yoga. She is a member of the National Yoga Alliance, the Black Yoga Teacher Alliance and is a founding member of the Black Yoga Teachers of Birmingham.
Gloria is a 16-year breast cancer warrior and is an active advocate for breast cancer awareness as well as an active participant in fundraising efforts for research to combat the disease. For the last several years she has partnered with Susan G. Komen for the Cure in fundraising efforts and is now serves as Board Chair for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama whose mission is to help find a cure for breast cancer by funding promising breast cancer research in Alabama, and to raise community awareness and funding for research.
In 2019 Gloria formed her first company, "Let it Glo Wellness”, an entity founded to address the total wellness of women – physical wellness, spiritual wellness, mental/emotional wellness, and financial wellness. Let It Glo Wellness along with her passion for the practice of Yoga is her segue for bringing Yoga into the black community – for healing and restoration.
Gloria is the proud mother of four adult children and five beautiful grandchildren. Gloria’s hobbies include yoga, of course, photography, reading, journaling, music, hiking, spending time with family and friends and traveling.
Gloria’s favorite quote comes from William Shakespeare: “This above all: to thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.”
